LivingWorks ASIST is a two-day face-to-face workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. At a LivingWorks ASIST workshop, you'll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive. Two knowledgeable, supportive trainers will guide you through the course, ensuring your comfort and safety.
Thanks to DBHDS, this training is FREE! You must attend the entirety of BOTH days to receive credit for the course.

In partnership with Chesapeake Public Schools, CIBH Prevention Services will be apart of a panel discussion to help answer your questions about mental health.

Event is being held at Crestwood Middle School Auditorium. Presentation begins at 6:30 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m.

REVIVE! is Virginia’s statewide Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education (OONE) program, designed to train individuals in recognizing and responding to opioid overdose emergencies with naloxone, a life-saving medication.
Training is between 1-1.5 hours long. This training covers understanding opioids, how opioid overdoses happen, risk factors for opioid overdoses, and how to respond to an opioid overdose emergency with the administration of Naloxone.
