Mark your calendars! The 35th Annual Senior Support Services Seminar takes place September 9th-10th at the Chesapeake Conference Center! 1,800 seniors will flood the conference center for a free lunch, free health screenings, live entertainment, hundreds of door prizes, and information from dozens of vendors specializing in services and resources for seniors.

LivingWorks ASIST is a two-day face-to-face workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. At a LivingWorks ASIST workshop, you'll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive. Two knowledgeable, supportive trainers will guide you through the course, ensuring your comfort and safety.

Thanks to DBHDS, this training is FREE! You must attend the entirety of BOTH days to receive credit for the course.

Every 2nd Tuesday of the month @ 12:00pm-1:00pm

REVIVE! is Virginia’s statewide Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education (OONE) program, designed to train individuals in recognizing and responding to opioid overdose emergencies with naloxone, a life-saving medication.

Training is between 1-1.5 hours long. This training covers understanding opioids, how opioid overdoses happen, risk factors for opioid overdoses, and how to respond to an opioid overdose emergency with the administration of Naloxone.
